Hello! I am Mrs. King and I am very excited to be your child's special education teacher this year. This will be my 16 year in Cabarrus County.  Previously I have worked at Irvin, Boger, Harrisburg, Furr, Beverly Hills, and Royal Oaks Elementarys.  For the 2021-22 school year, I will be working at Coltrane Webb and Rocky River. 

I am originally from Buffalo, New York and earned my bachor's degree in Elementary Education from Fredonia State in 2005.  I moved to Baltimore, Maryland where I taught for 3 years and earned my Master's degree in Special Education from Towson University in 2009.  In 2010 I became a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Expcetional Needs Specialist.  I am currently working on my administration certificate through UNCC.
