My name is Judy Herring.  This will be my fouth year as a school counselor at Rocky River Elementary. I am the counselor for grades 3-5.  I have a degree in Psychology and Child and Family Development. I also have a Masters in Education: School Counseling. Previously I have worked at Locust Elementary School in Stanly County and also at Pitts Elementary School.  I look forward to a great year working with you and your students. I am so excited to be here and have the opportunity to work with you and your children. 

Student Services is always available and willing to assist and support your students with any social emotional issues that they are experiencing.  In addition to that we also support and collaborate with our staff to make sure that our students are being safe, responsible and respectful.
