Happy back to school Cox Mill families! I am so excited about being at Cox Mill Elementary this year as the Mandarin ELA teacher for the Kindergarten and 1st Grade classes. I have worked in Cabarrus County Schools since 2000!  I taught a combined 15 years of 3rd grade at Irvin and Furr Elementary. I have also worked as a reading interventionist at Furr for the last 6 years. I have 3 children who have all gone through Cox Mill Elementary and it was an amazing experience for all of them.  I hope I can provide the same for your child.  My daughter is a rising freshman at Cox Mill High School and I have twin boys that are starting 6th grade at Harris Road Middle School. My husband and I live in Concord and we have been married for 17 years. I love to spend time traveling with my family. We also spend a lot of time on the baseball fields watching my boys play ball.  We also love to watch football as a family. I am originally from Buffalo, NY and completed my undergraduate degree at SUNY Fredonia.   GO BILLS! I completed my Masters degree at UNC Charlotte. I am looking forward to an amazing year!
