Mrs. North's Welcome Video
Welcome to your window to the world. This is my second year teaching, but I am not new to the school system. I have worked as a Public Health School Nurse for 12 years. Prior to that, I served in the US Army. First I served as an enlisted combat medic. I then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing with a minor in Military Science from the University of Missouri/Columbia. I continued to serve in the US Army as an officer, emergency/flight nurse. I am teaching Health Occupations at Concord High School through the Public Safety Academy. Teaching Health Sciences is my passion, and I can't wait to share my knowledge and stories with my students. I am a mother of three children. Two of whom are in college and one that has recently begun his career. My hobbies include hiking, gardening, and spending time with my new puppies.
