Welcome to Mr. Sachnin's webpage! I serve children identified through the Exceptional Children's Program in the Resource setting.  Each student receives small group instruction based on their Individualized Education Program. I work on building skills in the areas of reading, writing, math, and social development. I am originally from Westchester County, New York. It has always been my dream to become a teacher ever since I was a young child and I was fortunate enough myself to have inspirational educators. I was lucky to be surrounded by phenomenal teachers and wish to pay it forward to my future students. I encourage my students to be positive and productive citizens of the Hickory Ridge family. My motto remains; 'always remember to laugh without reason!'

 

 

With another school year approaching, please have your child read at least 20 minutes each night and be sure to ask them basic comprehension questions such as, "What is your book about?" or "Who are the main characters?". Please feel free to contact me with additional resources in reading, writing, or math!
