I am so excited to be at Pitts School Road Elementary again and to be a part of your child's third grade year! I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you!

 

This is my eigth year at Pitts, and my sixteenth year teaching!  My family and I moved to North Carolina eight years ago from upstate New York where I taught 2nd and 3rd grade for seven years.  Prior to teaching I had a short career working in non-profit advertising in New York City and Development/Fundraising in Maine. 

 

I am married with two beautiful children.  Katey is a senior at Guilford College in Greensboro where she plays softball and is a criminal justice major.   Cole is attending CPCC this year and working lots of hours to save his money!  We also have a dog named Adrian and a turtle named Rocky.
