Hello! Welcome to the cheetah class. My name is Madelyn Boatwright and this is my first year at PSRES. I am so excited to call this wonderful school home! I grew up in Cabarrus County and attended Cabarrus County Schools from elementary to high school. I recently graduated from UNC Charlotte in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Children’s Literature. Prior to graduating, I worked as a group leader at a local daycare within it’s after school/summer camp program for 5 years, where I was able to work with students from different grade levels. I believe that students grow when they are in a safe, caring environment and I will strive to create a close classroom community to support and celebrate students every day. This year is going to be amazing!
Along with being a teacher, I am also a mother. I have a two year old daughter who will be starting preschool this year! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with her and taking her to different parks around Cabarrus County. We also love being a part of the community and attending events around the area!
