Backpack Program Gets a Boost

Sometimes gifts come in small packages and sometimes they come in "backpacks". Students from the B-PC High School FFA and the B-PC High School boys basketball team worked together to pack food for some of the district's neediest families in December.

​Started in 2014 by area ministerial groups and supported by the Bushnell VFW and Ludlum's Grocery, the B-PC Backpack Program currently provides food to 23 Bushnell-Prairie City families that include over 60 children. Thank you to Sponsor Steve Sargeant and Coach Tyler Snyder for coordinating assistance that day, and thank you to B-PC Backpack Program board members and volunteers for keeping this program alive.
