As we head into the winter weather months, please read the information provided below to learn more about our efforts to keep staff and students safe during inclement weather while also protecting valuable instructional time.

Backpack Program Gets a Boost

12/9/2019

Sometimes gifts come in small packages and sometimes they come in "backpacks". Students from the B-PC High School FFA and the B-PC High School boys basketball team worked together to pack food for some of the district's neediest families in December.

Started in 2014 by area ministerial groups and supported by the Bushnell VFW and Ludlum's Grocery, the B-PC Backpack Program currently provides food to 23 Bushnell-Prairie City families that include over 60 children. Thank you to Sponsor Steve Sargeant and Coach Tyler Snyder for coordinating assistance that day, and thank you to B-PC Backpack Program board members and volunteers for keeping this program alive.
