1. Skyward Family Access

Skyward is your direct connection to your student's school experience. 
​
What you can do in Skyward Family Access:
  • Register your student for a new school year
  • Check a student's cafeteria balance
  • Check a student's grades and attendance
  • Check a student's general information
  • Update contact information to receive important notifications & alerts
  • Sign up to receive email alerts for different student conditions, like a low cafeteria balance, or if a grade falls below a certain mark​
  • ​To learn more, visit the Skylert Family Access Video Library​, and take a look at the additional Skyward features below. Contact your child's school office with questions.

Not receiving Skylert alerts and notifications as you'd like?
Check this page in Skyward Family Access (below) to make sure your settings are correct. Remember, any non-emergency notifications (the majority of the notifications we send) are categorized as "General," so be sure to subscribe to those as well as emergency ones.

Once you are registered properly in Family Access, you should receive an opt-in message to which you need to reply if you want to receive messages.

If you do not receive the opt-in within 24 hours of enrolling, please text the word YES to 67587 

2. SchoolMessenger

SchoolMessenger is an app that allows parents and guardians of B-PC students to receive district (Skylert) communications as well as teacher and coach communications all in one place.

​Parents and guardians should follow these instructions to ensure they do not miss any important messages including both emergency and non-emergency notifications.

  1. On a smartphone, INSTALL the SchoolMessenger app.
    Scan below to go to app store:
    Apple App Store   /   Google Play Store

  2. Open the app. If you have never signed up, choose SIGN UP.
    Use the same email to sign up that you use as your parent contact email in Skyward.

  3. Turn on PUSH NOTIFICATIONS.

  4. Signing up automatically links you to all of your enrolled children and all of their class sections. You only need to join groups if your child is in an extracurricular activity; in that case, the coach or sponsor will provide you with a code to add.
