SEQRA Information

  • Involved and Interested Agencies

During the pre-referendum phase of the project, the Board of Education, in consultation with its attorneys, architects and engineers, must Identify what permits, authorizations and funding sources are applicable. Agencies providing each such authorization or funding will be part of the SEQRA review process as involved agencies (each must adopt a SEQRA finding). It is also important to identify which agencies may merely be interested in the project to determine if they should be kept informed.
