My name is Cheryl Cardillo and I am thrilled to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher this year.  I can't wait to work with you and get to know your child.  My goal is to instill a love of learning, help them be successful and strive to be the best that they can be.  It has always been my dream to help and inspire young children, just as my teachers have done for me!  Kindergarten is such an exciting milestone adventure ~ I enjoy watching the light bulb turn on when they discover what they can achieve.  I love teaching and I am proud to be a part of the Indian Nation family!

A little bit about me…I was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania and love living here in Southern Mississippi!  I’ve been happily married for 17 years and I have two daughters, one is attending college while being a manager at Ulta and the other is a 3rd grader here at North Bay!  We also have a Blue Heeler named Nala. 

I attended Wilkes University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology as well as a Master’s Degree in Special Education.  I am certified in both Pennsylvania and Mississippi to teach grades K-6.  I have worn many hats over the years, which include being a substitute teacher, working at a credit union, teaching preschool (3-4 year olds for 6 years), special education paraprofessional and being a stay at home mom for 5 years!  I love spending time with my family, going to the beach and listening to music :)
