I'm beyond thrilled to start my fifth year at Brookside, and to see some familiar faces from years' past. We have a beautiful new lab space to share, which has been barely touched, due to the pandemic, since its construction from the summer of 2019. The B'side Class of 2022 will be the first to fully use the space! Our 8th grade science units include (1) Mechanical engineering, (2) Earth's History, (3) Biological Evolution, (4) Weather and Climate, and (5) Biodiversity & Sustainability. Expect to dive within the wondrous world of science! 

My goals for you are to uncover more about yourself as a learner, how to advocate for your strengths and needs, work collaboratively with others, and ultimately embrace science as an incredible tool for discovering the world around you. Science is all about inquiry, designing calculated and methodical experiments, and most importantly, making and learning from our mistakes. Best of luck; I know you'll do great!
