MACS Athletic Hall of Fame

The Mexico Academy and Central School Athletic Hall of Fame was approved by the Board of Education in the Spring of 2012. The first inductions took place in the Spring of 2013, at the annual Block M Banquet.  The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor the accomplishments of outstanding athletes, teams, coaches and any other persons who have made a significant contribution to MACS athletic programs, or who have graduated from MACS and have gone on to make noteworthy contributions in the world of sports.  Also to enhance the current students and athletes understanding and appreciation for the history of MACS athletics. It is our hope that in honoring our Hall of Famers, we will not only preserve the rich sports history of MACS, but also inspire future athletes to strive to one day take their place among the Hall of Famers.

Nominations will be taken at any time from anyone who fills out the nomination form found on this page.  Just print, fill out the required information and follow the instructions to submit.   Nominations to be considered for the next induction must be received by February 1st.  All nominations received after the February 1st deadline will be held for consideration for the following year induction.  All nominations not inducted into the Hall of Fame will be kept on the ballot for five years.  After that time a new nomination form must be submitted.
