Board of Education Spotlight: Baker News

The Board of Education honored and recognized the Baker News program at C.W. Baker High School for the group's outstanding achievements. Baker News was recognized earlier this month in an international film festival. The program, which is led by co-advisors Leslie Cartier and Melissa Morgan, won first place in the Broadcast Journalism Highlights category at the All American High School Film Festival. Baker News is only in its fourth season and has also won the Best School News program two years straight at the CNY High School Film Festival.
