Fourth-Graders Step Back in Time at Colonial Festival
Baldwinsville fourth-graders got a peek at what colonial life was like for children their age in New York State at the school district’s annual Colonial Festival on May 30 & 31. Students took a step back in time when they rotated through hands-on activities, including butter making, candle dipping, and quilting to experience typical colonial tasks. Guest speakers brought history to life with demonstrations and colonial tales. This is the 36th year the district has held the festival for its fourth-graders.Thank you to the following local businesses for their generous donations to this year’s event:
