Board of Education Spotlight: Fall student-athletes honored
The Board of Education recognized and honored the following BCSD students on Monday, December 5, 2022 for their outstanding achievements and accomplishments:
Solomon Holden-Betts, a senior, won the NYSPHSAA Cross Country Championship. He had the best overall time of the event.

Girls Varsity Tennis
Girls Varsity Tennis players Hannah Gould, a senior, and Elaina Nesbit, a freshman, won Sectional III Championship for Doubles and competed in the NYSPHSAA Girls Tennis Championships.
Girls Varsity Tennis player Mira Nadzan, an eighth grader, competed in the NYSPHSAA Girls Tennis Championship for singles.

Girls Swimming
Eva Smith won the Sectional Champion in the 100 yard Backstroke and the 200 yard Freestyle. Eva also placed first in the state qualifiers in both of these events. She competed in the NYSPHSAA Girls Swimming Championships.

U18 USA Select Lacrosse Team
Senior Girls Lacrosse player Carlie Desimone earned a spot on the U18 USA Select team, which competed in October. The USA team won the Brogden Cup!
