Important information about Emergency Closings and ParentSquare notifications
The safety of our students and staff is one of our highest priorities at the Baldwinsville Central School District. The decision to cancel/delay school or cancel after-school/evening activities will be based on several factors, including the weather forecast and current road conditions.
In the event that we do cancel/delay school or cancel after-school/evening activities, we will use ParentSquare to alert parents, guardians and staff. This system sends an automated voice message, text message and an email to families.
We will also post information on our website and on our social media pages, and we will notify local media outlets.
ParentSquare allows for users to set their preferred notification settings. Users can update when and how they want to receive notifications from their school and the district office. Emergency notifications, such as canceling or delaying school, will be sent as an alert, which overrides your notification settings.
