Post-Procedure Instructions
The Baldwinsville School District is committed to providing services that your child requires for them to attend school. In the instance where a medical procedure has occurred, we encourage you to notify the school nurse prior to the procedure. The school nurse can assist in coordinating for any ancillary service required at school. Parent responsibilities includes providing the heath care provider's order and providing the necessary equipment.

School personnel, parents and health care providers must all work together to provide the necessary information to allow children with health issues to participate fully and safely in school. We recommend using the "Post-Procedure Instructions for School" form for obtaining the needed medical information. School personnel are not permitted to manipulate your child until we have clear, written instruction from the appropriate physician.
