District announces new administrators, school leaders

New Ray Middle School leaders for the 2023-2024 school year: 
Principal Micheal Pope, Assistant Principal Amy Klymkow and
Assistant Principal William Allan.

The Baldwinsville Central School District is pleased to announce that during Monday evening’s Board of Education meeting, the Board of Education accepted recommendations to appoint a new Director of Pupil & Personnel Services and new leadership in two of our school buildings.

Jenna Wolken was appointed Director of Pupil & Personnel Services. She replaces Karrie LaMacchia who was board approved earlier this month to serve as the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services. 

Michael Pope was appointed principal of Ray Middle School. Pope has been assistant principal at the middle school for four years. Amy Klymkow, currently an administrative intern at Van Buren Elementary School and a former Palmer Elementary School teacher, and William Allan, assistant principal C.W. Baker High School, were appointed assistant principals at the school. Current Principal Christina Morgan was approved on June 6th to serve as our new Director of Secondary Education. Current Ray Assistant Principal Jennifer Sawyer accepted a position as a Learning Coach. 

Jennifer Medwid, an administrative intern at C.W. Baker High School, was appointed as an assistant principal at the high school. She fills the position vacated by Mr. Allan.
