Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff,

I had the exciting opportunity to spend Wednesday and this morning in Virginia to learn more about Micron and its partnership with public schools. Our team from Baldwinsville included Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment Renee Burnett, Director of Secondary Education Christina Morgan, Learning Coach Erin Robertson, Baker Technology Teacher Matt Hudson and myself. We joined educators from our neighboring school districts to learn more about the opportunities Micron has to offer for our students. It was an informative trip and we are looking forward to continuing to learn more about Micron’s impact on CNY schools. 

Our schools and district offices will be closed tomorrow – Friday, March 29th. I hope everyone has a wonderful 3-day weekend. Below are more important calendar reminders: 

Calendar Reminders:

• We will be releasing students early on Monday, April 8th due to the total solar eclipse. Elementary schools will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Ray Middle School and Baker High School will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. and Durgee Junior High School will dismiss at 1:40 p.m. Read the message on our website. 

• Modified spring sports will begin on Tuesday, April 9th.

• No school for students on Wednesday, April 10th for a Superintendent’s Conference Day.

• Spring Break starts on Friday, April 19th.
