Community Partnerships
Charlotte County Public School (CCPS) employees are dedicated to promoting character and competence in a positive learning culture that ensures success and inspires purpose for ALL. CCPS employees also enjoy focusing on wellness and are highly compettitive. Each year, CCPS hosts a kickball tournmanent comprised of employee teams. It is a day of fun, teamwork, and high energy. It takes a lot of planning and hard work to get these events up and running, from design to day of coordination. That is why we are looking for local community partners to help promote employee wellness in and out of work. If you are interested in working together on a wellness initiative, program, of have other ideas we would love to hear from you.
Starting in Spring 2019, CCPS is hosting a year-long program titled Year of the Small Step which challenges employees to focus on each day as a new opportunity to begin achieving their wellness goals. During this program, employees will watch monthly videos focused on a wellness topic. Employees will also track their wellness activities including gym time, trying nutritious recipes, starting a walking group, and more. Each activity will earn the employee points that can be used to enter drawings for prizes.
