August: Respect
We are learning all about RESPECT. We define being respectful as: showing consideration, understanding, and regard for people, places, and things.
Here are some ways you can teach RESPECT to your child at home:
-Have them be responsible for keeping their room and backpack tidy.
-Reinforce good manners during mealtimes and when out in public.
-Hold the door for someone at the store.
-Encourage polite vocabulary (thank you, you're welcome, excuse me).
