Middle High School PBIS

  • What is PBIS?

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, data-driven framework proven to reduce disciplinary incidents, increase a school’s sense of safety and support improved academic outcomes. The premise of PBIS is that continual teaching, combined with acknowledgement or feedback of positive student behavior will reduce unnecessary discipline and promote a climate of greater productivity, safety, and learning.

Our new Pawsitive Prizes Program began during the 2015-16 school year. For students to earn these PAWSitive prizes they simply have to display positive behaviors that align with our core values and earn Tiger Paws Tickets. These tickets are orange with a paw print on them and can be redeemed for the PAWSitive prizes shown in our Tiger Store below. Students can receive tickets from any Warsaw Middle/High School faculty and staff when observed doing something positive. The store is open on Fridays during all three lunch periods.
