Third graders in Mrs. Ripps’ class at Veeder Elementary School were treated to a wonderful International buffet. Each family cooked a dish from their ancestors’ country to share with the class and each child prepared a one-minute speech to tell why their family came to America. The food was delicious and the speeches were wonderful. It was a great experience for the students and for the adults as well.
