Veeder Elementary School kicked off its Kindness campaign on Friday, Nov. 30, as part of its Stuff the Bus with Toys for Tots assembly. Kindergarten students in Mrs. Backus’ class will be earning ornaments to add to the Kindness tree for their random act of kindness. They started by making beautiful pictures to decorate the school’s main office. Each Wednesday in December, classes will leave a special secret surprise or do a secret act of kindness for another class. At the end of the month the classes will reveal themselves.
