Veeder Elementary School Kindergartners in Mrs. Backus’ class participated in an Earth Day Show and Tell. Their assignment was to reuse objects from home to make something new instead of discarding them as trash. Some of the clever things they made included plant containers, a truck, a new pencil holder, an outside living scene, a pine cone and milk jug bird feeder, a robot and a rocket made of recycled materials. All projects were accomplished while helping to save the Earth.
