Four students from Colonie Central were selected to have their art displayed at the 2023 Capital Region Media Arts Festival. The annual event is hosted by The Capital Area Art Supervisors and Region 6 New York State Art Teachers Association to showcase the best of the photography, graphic design, computer art, film, and animation within the 17 participating school districts. Over 200 pieces from local schools were submitted for consideration this year.
The submissions were judged by artists and educators from the host groups. Artists and families were able to participate in the festival virtually at the time of the awards. The video from the event can be viewed here.
