Students and teachers from South Colonie awarded with Annual Capital Region Students and Teachers Who Make a Difference recognition

The Capital Area School Development Association released the list of recipients for their 37th Annual Capital Region Students and Teachers Who Make a Difference recognition. We are pleased to share that three student-teacher duos from the South Colonie School District were chosen for this honor.

Since 1987, this award has recognized outstanding high school seniors from public, private, parochial, and BOCES secondary schools in the Greater Capital Region. Each student scholar applying for the award must nominate one of their teachers for having had a significant influence on their education.

Congratulations to Senior Hailey Lotz and Mrs. Sarah Nagel, Senior Caitlin Tulley and Mr. Peter Cannistraci, and Senior Christopher Rennells and Mrs. Michelle Scrader.
