South Colonie transportation director Pete Tunny honored with NYAPT President’s award

Assistant Superintendent for Management Services and Strategic Planning Jacqlene McAllister expressed her admiration for Transportation Director Pete Tunny during NYAPT’s regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, May 18.

South Colonie Central School District’s long standing Transportation Director Peter Tunny was recently honored with the President’s Award by the New York Association for Pupil Transportation (NYAPT). This well-deserved recognition serves as a testament to Pete’s unwavering dedication, hard work and commitment to excellence in the field of transportation

“With his deep understanding of the importance of safe transportation within our school community, Pete has tirelessly worked to ensure the well-being of our students and staff,” said Assistant Superintendent for Management Services and Strategic Planning Jacqlene McAllister.  “We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Pete on this outstanding achievement.”
