South Colonie Schools held a special pre-game ceremony last night to honored New York State and Colonie Assemblyman Phil Steck for his help in securing $250,000 in funding to purchase and install new ADA accessible gym bleachers at Colonie Central High School. The bleachers are being used in both the Multi Use Gym (MUG) and the PIT. Steck was recognized at center court by district officials, member of the Board of Education and the crowd gathered for the Raiders boys basketball game vs Ballston Spa. As a token of their appreciation, the team captain and cheerleaders presented Steck with two autographed basketballs signed by the boys and girls teams. The boys went on to defeat Ballston Spa 70-56.
