South Colonie administrators address parent questions during interactive reopening sessions

The South Colonie Central School District held an additional four reopening sessions this week to discuss the details surrounding reopening plans and virtual learning options for families.

During the scheduled sessions, administrators and building principals provided an overview of the in-person instruction, changes in the school experience for students, and provided details of the virtual learning academy option. Questions submitted by both PTA representatives and parents attending the session were answered during the sessions

Additionally, the district provided a session for families of students participating in the special education program.  The informational session addressed questions submitted in advance from the South Colonie Special Education Parent-Teacher Association (SEPTA).
