Mrs. Harriman’s second graders at Shaker Road Elementary School took advantage of the recent snowstorm to make “snow ice cream” as part of their science lesson. Each child went outside and gathered a cupful of clean snow. After mixing it with a bit of evaporated milk and vanilla extract, they had their own special version of ice cream. They all agreed it was delicious!
