Congratulations to Sand Creek Middle School’s SoCo Robo FIRST LEGO Robotics team for finishing first place in the project portion of the robotics competition Saturday at Shenendehowa High School.
Team members were Logan and Caeley in 8th grade, Chandu in 7th grade, and Max, Janelle, David, Stephen, Tian, and Shu Huai, all 6th graders.
Their project idea was to protect astronauts from radiation during deep space travel by creating an artificial magnetic field around the spacecraft using superconducting wire.
