For the past seven years, the Raiderfest celebration has long brought attention to important initiatives within our community. This unique community-based event not only engages our community with special causes, it also provides fun-filled opportunities to connect, while strengthening the importance of being a Colonie Raider. This year was no different. Assisted with a summer-like forecast, administrators, staff, faculty and community members participated in another special day for the district’s history books! Since 2015, Colonie Central High School iCARE students have delivered an event focused on recognizing important initiatives during the month of May by welcoming South Colonie students and families to its annual Raiderfest celebration.
This year’s event featured carnival games, food trucks, live music, a craft/vendor fair, games and more with proceeds to support American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Thank you to everyone for being a part of Raiderfest. See you next year!
Here are some highlights from this year’s event.
