Maribeth Boelts, author of The PS Brothers, stopped by Sand Creek Middle School for a surprise visit on her way from her home in Iowa to another school on the east coast. Students in Mrs. Baker’s 5th grade reading classes have been in contact with Mrs. Boelts, so she reached out and offered to come and surprise her Sand Creek fans in-person. Students were delighted to have the opportunity to ask Maribeth all sorts of questions about her work as an author and how she came up with the ideas in the book they so enjoyed. What a great day for our 5th grade readers! We thank Maribeth Boelts for her kindness and generosity to our students.
