Last week, the South Colonie CSD prevailed over Guilderland CSD as part of a Yankee Trails promotional event designed to support the hard work of area teachers this year. The contest, called PIZZA MADNESS, was held until Friday, March 19.
As part of this campaign, area districts competed against one another each week for the highest vote totals. South Colonie was pitted against Guilderland CSD in the finals. In the end, South Colonie prevailed with 525 votes vs. Guilderland CSD’s 485. The winner received 10 Free Pizza’s for its teachers from the pizzeria of their choice. PIZZA MADNESS was a fun and friendly competition and the district could not of accomplished this victory without the help of our school community.
Today, Yankee Trails delivered on their promise and arrived in style to bring the winning district its pizza. A special thank you goes to Yankee Trails, our district community and our teachers who continue to go above and beyond for our students.
