Courtney Hynes (Lisha KIll Middle School teacher) and Jim Brown (Sand Creek Middle School teacher) recently participated in training on the FUSE program at Northwestern University in Chicago through support from Siemens. They plan to utilize what they have learned with students in fifth and sixth grade science beginning this September.

FUSE is a STEAM (STEM plus Arts) education program that facilitates student exploration and learning through hands-on, interest-driven challenges inspired by real-world STEM and design practices.
