Lisha Kill to host orientation for incoming fifth grade students and families

On Thursday, March 24, Lisha Kill Middle School will host an orientation program for incoming fifth-grade students and families. The event will be held at Lisha Kill from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.

Students will have an opportunity to meet members of our faculty and learn more about Lisha Kill.  The parent/guardian session will include an overview of the academic program and the many opportunities for students at Lisha Kill.  At the conclusion of the session, families will have an opportunity to ask questions.

Transition to middle school

The transition from elementary school to middle school is an important milestone in your child’s life.  It is our sincere hope that this brief orientation program will assist in making this a smooth transition for all.  Traditionally, during the last week of August or the first week in September, Lisha Kill will also host an evening program for students to move their supplies into their middle school locker.  We will send home specific information about this event over the summer.

RSVP

In order for us to plan for this program, please RSVP with Mrs. Linda Kennedy at kennedyl@scolonie.org or 456-2306, ext. 2000.
