The Colonie Raiders hosted an all-day rumble on Saturday, Feb. 8, with cheerleading squads from around the Capital District participating. The Colonie Central High School varsity team hosted the event that started off with junior, youth and recreation exhibitions. Colonie High did not compete but put on an exhibition to close out the day. High school squads from Ballston Spa, Burnt Hills, Columbia, Guilderland, Niskayuna, Shaker, Shenendehowa, Troy, Saratoga, Mohonasen, Bethlehem Queensbury, Averill Park, Schenectady, Tamarac, Stillwater, Cohoes, Broadalbin Perth and Pearl River competed in front of a panel of judges.
