We are immensely proud to announce that Colonie High School’s very own Jumana Ibrahim has been honored with a prestigious Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen Award by the Mohawk Chapter.
The DAR Good Citizen ceremony, held at the historic Pruyn House this week, recognized outstanding students who embody the qualities of good citizenship, leadership, and service to their community. Among the many deserving nominees, Jumana Ibrahim stood out and was rightfully selected as one of the two recipients of this esteemed award.
“Jumana’s dedication to making a positive impact in our school and community has been truly commendable,” said CCHS principal Thomas Kachadurian. “Her leadership skills, exemplary character and commitment to service are a shining example of the values we strive to instill in our students. The DAR Good Citizen Award is a testament to Jumana’s passionate spirit and her embodiment of the principles upon which our nation was built.
