Brunelle Earns National Athletic Trainer Service Award

Colonie athletic trainer Aimee Brunelle was recognized this summer with the 2019 National Athletic Trainer Service Award at the National Athletic Trainers’ Association annual conference in Las Vegas.

The Athletic Trainer Service Award recognizes NATA members for their contributions to the athletic training profession as a volunteer at the local and state levels. ATSA recipients have been involved in professional associations, community organizations, grassroots public relations efforts and service as a volunteer athletic trainer.

Brunelle has been an athletic trainer for 24 years at the college and high school levels. She is a past president of the New York State Athletic Trainers Association and is currently the conference and governmental affairs chairperson.
