Patrick Chamberlain
I was born and raised in Houston, TX. As a child a competed in gymnastics (loved it!) and played football and baseball through my adolescent years. Movement came natural to me and I always felt better running than walking. After high school I went to Texas Tech University in Lubbock and got my undergraduate degree in advertising and marketing. After working for a year in Dallas I realized this might not have been the best career path for me so I moved to the Bay Area! I went back to school to get my teaching credential at Sonoma State University and truly found the right career for me, a Physical Educator. Once in the Bay Area I met my wife, Sabrina, a second grade teacher at Colman, and we now have two kids at Sun Valley Elementary. I couldn't imagine a better place to raise our kids.
I have a passion for the outdoors! I hiked the California section of the Pacific Crest Trail and get out with my family to kayak, hike, camp, mountain bike, fish, etc... any chance I get. If I'm not outside, I'm doing some crazy CrossFit workout with my neighbors or at The Cave in Corte Madera. I coach the Youth Strength and Conditioning class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at The Cave while my kids take gymnastics classes. I have my CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Kids Certifications. If I'm not exercising, I'm coaching my kids soccer team!
