Rio Del Valle Middle School hosted 5th grade students from Rio Rosales, Rio Lindo, and Rio Plaza to compete in the 2019 Rio Olympics. The Rio Olympics is a sporting event where students compete in various events including: baseball throw, push-ups, 1 mile run, football throw, basketball, soccer, curl-ups, 50 yard dash, 100 yard dash, long jump, a 1 lap race, a one lap relay, and a 1 mile relay.
