Gayle Robinson, READ 180

Ms. Robinson is a reading professional at Richmond Success Academy.  She embraces the READ 180 program is a comprehensive, research-based reading intervention tool for students.  The reading intervention program utilizes a blended learning approach combining computer-based instruction with teacher-led direct instruction and small group activities.  Moreover, it is designed for students reading three or more years below grade level.

The goal is to improve foundational literacy, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing abilities.  READ 180 focuses on struggling readers and is primarily intended for students who need intensive intervention and intensive support to improve their reading skills.  

Our goal is to help striving students achieve grade-level proficiency. The photos below show readers engaging in activities such as composing poems, reading, and interpreting biographies and autobiographies.
