Jasmine Garnett, School Nurse

As RSA School Nurse, she works with our learners as well as the Headstart students. She is aware of the needs of each individual she serves in her role as nurse.  She works to build relationships with every student in her care.  Moreover, while many students head to the nurse's office for an ice pack or band-aid, she is helping some students with personal hygiene, mental and emotional challenges as well as navigating the complex healthcare system.  She works effectively to build relationships with her students before there is a need for help. She is visible to students and has the opportunity to interact with most of them on a daily basis.  Nurse Garnett greets learners in the hallways as students go to class and checks in on them in the cafeteria during lunch time.
