Welcome Back, Pathfinders!

Dear Pathfinder Community,  

What a beautiful summer! I hope you have found time to connect with family and friends and make lasting summer memories even in the day to day moments. 

We want to welcome you back as we gear up for the new year. There is so much to be proud of as a Pathfinder. This past year proved to be a year of great growth not only for students as social and academic beings, but for our community as a whole. We got to see an increase in family and community connections, held our first STEAM Night, completed our first Near Space Balloon Launch and dove deeper into our project-based learning unit design. Students forged lasting relationships and built each other up through collaboration and classroom community. We continue to show ourselves what is possible when we dream big. I wonder what's in store for this year? Whatever it is, we are so grateful to have you dreaming alongside us! 

Please consider joining us for our back to school events that allow your child to see the school, meet their teacher, and connect with new and old friends. Join us on Wednesday, August 30th for our Back to School Open House. Families with last names A-L will be from 5:00-5:45 and families with the last names of M-Z will be from 5:45-6:30. The first day of school for 2nd-5th grade students is Tuesday, September 5th at 9:00AM. Our Kindergarten and 1st grade students will join us for their first day on Friday, September 8th. More information about our WaKids Home to School Connection meetings for K/1 families will come out soon. 

As we enter this new school year let's remember our shared commitment to helping all children learn and grow socially and academically. Together we will empower learners of and for the future. It is time to let young minds dream and create!
