Welcome Falcon Nation
Hello Falcon Families,
We hope this communication finds you safe and well! We hope, too, that you are enjoying your summer. We are looking forward to seeing all of our returning students and we want to welcome all of our incoming 6th graders as well as our 7th and 8th graders that are new to Harbor Ridge! We are proud of our school and we are excited for the year ahead.
We are planning a year filled with great success for all! Our goal is to provide a great learning environment where you feel safe, supported and accepted. We will continue to focus on SOAR (Safety, Ownership, Attend and Respect) as we feel these are some of the basic principles that will help everyone to be successful.
We pride ourselves at Harbor Ridge on being a great learning environment that is focused on growth; academically, behaviorally and socially. We also strive to have a variety of after school sports, clubs and activities that appeal to all students and help create a better sense of belonging.
We believe strongly in the importance of students getting involved and making connections early in the school year. We have found that students that participate in after school activities feel a better connection to school and perform at a higher level.
There have been a lot of people working hard over the summer to help ensure that the 23-24 school year will be our best year ever. Teachers are constantly working to find new ways to create powerful lessons that meet the needs of all students. Our outstanding custodial staff has the building looking great and our amazing office staff has been working hard to get scheduling done and welcome our new students and families.
We are here to support you throughout the school year and want you to know that we are committed to doing our part to make Harbor Ridge an AWESOME place for everyone.
