Senior Spotlight: Reise Brundage

Let's give a round of applause to Reise Brundage, a shining star from the PCHS Class of 2024! Here's a glimpse into his journey:

Family Ties: Reise is the son of Reggie and Britney Brundage, and his love for sports brings the family together. Whether it's ping pong, wiffle ball, Croquet, or volleyball, you'll find them enjoying every moment of friendly competition!

Biggest Inspiration: Reise finds inspiration in his baseball coaches, Robinson and Heidenwith. Their guidance and dedication have fueled his journey through high school.

Extracurricular Excellence: From Baseball to DECA, SADD, and NHS, Reise has immersed himself in activities that teach teamwork, hard work, and perseverance. These experiences have molded him into the person he is today.

Proudest Achievement: Making history by playing at state in baseball for the first time in Putnam County fills Reise with immense pride and accomplishment.

Funny Moment: Beating Coach Mayer at pickleball with a score of 11-0 remains a cherished and humorous memory for Reise!

Personal Growth: Reise reflects on his journey with maturity, advising incoming freshmen to seize every opportunity and give their all, whether in sports or academics.

Favorite Class: Sophomore year weights class holds a special place in Reise's heart, where lifting with friends like Owen and Gage Pearson created unforgettable memories.

Favorite Pastime: Hanging out with his buddies tops Reise's list of favorite activities outside of school.

One Wish: Reise's wish is to achieve financial prosperity, a goal he aspires to pursue in the future.

Three Words: Personable, Athletic, Respectful – qualities that define Reise's character.

Admired Person: Reise looks up to his hard-working and ever-supportive mom, who has been a constant source of inspiration and strength.

Future Plans: Reise plans to kick-start his journey with an associate degree in Behavioral Health from North Central Missouri College. His ultimate goal is to join the Missouri State Highway Patrol Academy, with dreams of a family-filled future back in Putnam County or nearby.

High School Experience: Reise sums up his high school journey as "Short and Sweet," filled with growth, achievements, and lasting memories.

Influential Teachers: While all his teachers have made a significant impact, Coach Heidenwith stands out for pushing Reise out of his comfort zone and guiding him through DECA and officiating.

Missed the Most: Reise will dearly miss the supportive network of teachers, coaches, and friends that he leaves behind.
