The 75th Annual All City Concert will be held on Friday, April 1 at the Bridge View Center. Join us at 7 p.m. for a night of music presented by 4th graders performing on their recorders, 5-8 orchestras, and 5-8 bands.

The tradition of All City began in 1945 and thanks to the many dedicated Ottumwa music teachers, is still going strong. Thousands of students have graced the stage over the years, demonstrating remarkable progression of musical skills from the 4th grade recorders to the 7th and 8th grade band and orchestra. Those beginning 5th grade band and orchestra sounds turn into great melodies and harmonies.

A wide range of music will be performed from Spanish and Canadian folk songs by the recorder ensemble to Jurassic Park by the 6th grade band and Star Wars by the 7/8 orchestra. The evening ends with a performance of America by all student groups. Be sure to arrive ready to join in on the final verse.

Brooke Bouma, former news anchor on Channel 13, will be the guest emcee for the evening.  Bouma is originally from Ottumwa and we are pleased to invite her back to be part of this Diamond Jubilee concert.

Join Ottumwa's students and music instructors on Friday and be part of the great All City Concert tradition!
